Snoopy’s “Joe Cool” Summer
今年は、いよいよスヌーピーの登場！
何かというと、サンタローザは実はスヌーピーの作者のCharles M. Schulzさんが人生の大部分を過ごした場所なんです。それで、彼の没後に彼の記念博物館が出来て、2年前の夏の観光シーズンにチャーリーの彫像で街を彩り、去年はウッドストックの彫像で彩られ、今年は残念かな最後の年となるそうですが、スヌーピーで最後を飾るという趣旨です。
スヌーピーとかが好きな人は、ぜひサンタローザに足を伸ばして訪れてみてください。ソノマ郡はナパと並んでワインで有名な所なんですが、こんな楽しみもあるちょっと粋な所です。
